Rustic, late maturing, but well protected from rot by the thick skin of its berries, Savagnin produces very great wines for aging, rich in subtle aromas, with notes of exotic fruits, citrus fruits and nuts. It is fatty on the palate with sustained acidity and surprising persistence.
